PVC Pipe

PVC pipe is produced from a unique specialty blend of PVC material with physical properties suitable for piping applications (e.g., improved impact resistance and good fire resistance).

The PVC product line includes Schedule 40 and 80 pipes measuring 1/4" by 24" in diameter. PVC can handle piping systems with more than three-quarters of the temperature and pressure requirements of typical process plants today. PVC pipe has an upper pressure temperature limit of below 200°F (93°C), or approximately 60°F (15°C) higher than Type I Grade I PVC.

As with all thermoplastic piping systems, PVC pipe is pressure-withstanding capacity varies with pipe diameter, wall thickness, and temperature. For pressure piping applications, it is recommended for temperatures up to 200°F (93°C) when the appropriate temperature rating factors are applied.
