KINETIC Air & Vacuum Valves for Water

Fully conform to AWWA C512. Kinetic design can exhaust air up to sonic velocity without blowing shut. Cast iron body with stainless steel float and internal components with replaceable rubber seat for drop tight shutoff. Available for working pressures to 300 PSI. Manufactured in size ½ to 16 inches (12 to 400 mm). Alternate materials and higher pressures available.

Function and Applications Installed at high points to allow air to be purged from pipelines during filling opens to admit air on draining. Ideal for venting air from vertical turbine pump well columns at start up, opening to admit air to allow column to fall at pump shutdown.
