Cast iron body with stainless steel float and internal components with replaceable rubber seat for drop tight shutoff. Available for working pressures to 150 PSI. Manufactured in size 2 to 4 inches (50 to 100 mm). Standard and "short-body" designs. Can be supplied with "back-flushing attachments" to facilitate maintenance Alternate materials and higher pressures available.

Function and Applications Automatically releases accumulated air and sewage gases from pipelines and forcemains.
